Victoria’s emergency workers will get access to better mental health support, with both major parties promising WorkCover changes. The Andrews government on Wednesday announced if re-elected, it would introduce laws for provisional payments for mental health claims with no monetary cap and $12 million for clinicians and early intervention programs to support paramedics, police, protective services officers, firefighters and SES workers.
