LINC has welcomed a new general manager in long term employee Lydia Commins and local girl Helena Bilby who is the new receptionist. Lydia began working at LINC in 2006 as a casual employee running the Community and Kids program, which involved conducting parenting courses, running play groups, developing programs to suit child and family needs and managing a small team. As time went on Lydia became an essential employee at LINC working in many areas to increase her skills and qualifications. “Then this opportunity came up and I took it, I’m very excited to step into this role and support the incredible staff, our clients and the community in the best way possible,” she said. Lydia said as part of her role as general manager she would like to ensure LINC’s partnerships with other agencies are strong.
